Chiropractic helps, if there are upper neck restrictions
(C0-C3) and muscle spasms throughout neck. This is usually found
in 25% of those with ADD and or ADHD.

such as Water, Air, Food, and what we use to cook food on can
all lead to hyperactivity.
- Aluminum if it is used to cook
with can accumulate in the body and cause the children to be
hyperactive, lead to joint problems, Alzheimer's disease, and
Pre-senile Dementia. All aluminum products containing food/drinks
in them or being used as cook wear or to cover food (aluminum
foil) should be avoided and eliminated. Also deodorants usually
have aluminum in them. The rock form of deodorants, usually do
not have aluminum in them. It is also found in coffee whiteners
and anti-acids. A deficiency in Calcium and Magnesium can allow
the effects of aluminum to be even more toxic on the body.
- Lead also can cause hyperactivity
from lead intoxication.
- Food Allergies.
- Hypoglycemia.
- Brain damage (minimal) that
might have occurred at birth due to decreased
oxygen flow.
- Candida infection: can pass from the mother to the
child at birth.
- Drug reactions.
- Overtiredness.
- Too much T.V.
- Unhappiness at home or school.
Dietary Supplements
- Essential Fatty Acids (ULTRA
GLA) as directed on label.
- Vitamin B Complex Can be found
in a good multivitamin.
B3 100mg/day
B5 100mg/day
B6 50mg/day
- Vitamin C 1000mg 3X/day
- Zinc No more than 100 mg/day.
It will depress immune system in amounts over
this level.
- Quercetin (great for allergies)
as directed on label.
- Grape seed Extract (great for
allergies and inflammation) as directed on label.
- Calcium and Magnesium (CAL6
+ MAG) as directed on label. (calming effect).
- GABA 750mg/day (decreases hyperactivity).
- Distilled water 10 glasses of
8 ounces of water/day.
- Valerian Root, Kava Kava. As
directed on label. (sedative effect).

Diet Modifications
- No refined sugars, artificial
colors, flavors or preservatives, as well as processed foods.
- The following foods are to
be avoided that contain Salicylates. (cause hyperactivity):
(These foods can then be slowly re-introduced one at a time to
see if they cause hyperactivity).
